Prince Harry and Meghan Markle face threats?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who missed Prince Philip’s memorial service last month on security concerns, have received ‘hostile environment’ training in case of a terror attack during the Invictus Games in the Netherlands.

As per reports, there is a “detailed extraction process” that has been drawn up as a precaution for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s visit to The Hague.

The Queen’s grandson, who sought police protection to bring her family back to the UK, is all set to travel to Netherlands for Invictus Games next week.

A royal expert Fitzwilliams previously claimed that “In a world where there are numerous examples of terror and extremism, a two-time veteran of Afghanistan who has been threatened by extremists, undoubtedly needs protection for himself and his family.”

This is the first time the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have both returned to Europe since quitting the Royal Family in 2020.

It comes after a source close to the couple said they had been assured there is “no credible threat to their safety”. Dutch police added that they will also be given “VVIP status” to ensure their safety on the trip.
