Divorce on the Horizon

Song Muci flies to Country A to celebrate her birthday with her husband, Feng Chichen, and their daughter, Nian Nian. However, she discovers that the two of them are in the restaurant celebrating with her half-sister, Su Waning. She overhears Nian Nian complaining about her and expressing a wish for Su Waning to become her mother instead. Heartbroken, Song Muci decides to divorce Feng Chichen. After returning to her home country, Song Muci goes to the Feng Group's secretariat and submits her resignation to the secretary general, Jiang Zhe. Despite Jiang Zhe's repeated attempts to persuade her to stay, she hands in her resignation. Later, in the hallway of Feng Group, she sees Feng Chichen and Su Waning getting close, which prompts her to move out of the Feng family villa and into an apartment in Zijing Community, 1101.
